The CareLink AI Chrome Extension is designed to help authorized funeral home staff securely import obituary, family, and case-related information into the CareLink AI platform to reduce manual data entry and streamline workflow management.

The Extension may access certain webpage content and information only after a user actively interacts with the Extension.

  • Family and next-of-kin information
  • Names, phone numbers, and email addresses

  • User authentication/session information required to access CareLink AI

The Extension only accesses webpage content from the active tab when initiated directly by the user.

2. How Information Is Used

Information accessed by the Extension is used solely to:

  • Import obituary and family information into the user's authorized CareLink AI workspace
  • Reduce manual data entry for funeral home staff
  • Support communication workflows and case management within CareLink AI
  • Improve the functionality and reliability of the CareLink AI platform

We do not use collected information for advertising purposes.

3. User-Initiated Functionality

The Extension operates only after direct user interaction.

The Extension does not:

  • Automatically monitor browsing activity
  • Continuously scan websites in the background
  • Track browsing history
  • Inject advertisements
  • Sell browsing behavior data
  • Collect information unrelated to the functionality of the Extension

  • activeTab — to temporarily access the current webpage after user interaction

CareLink AI may use trusted third-party infrastructure providers and communication services to operate the platform securely and reliably.

The Extension and CareLink AI platform are intended for business use by authorized funeral home staff and are not directed toward children under the age of 13.
